We all know about Death Valley, the hottest place on Earth. But Mars has its own chilling counterpart: Valles Marineris, a vast canyon system stretching over 4,000 kilometers (2,500 miles) long, 200 kilometers (125 miles) wide, and up to 11 kilometers (7 miles) deep!
