Some parts of Luzon, including Metro Manila, may experience thunderstorms on Tuesday, PAGASA said. A thunderstorm advisory was issued at 1 p.m., stating moderate to heavy rain showers with lightning and strong winds may occur in Rizal, Metro Manila, Zambales, Bataan, Tarlac, Pampanga, and Nueva Ecija in the next two to three hours. Heavy to intense rain showers with lightning and strong winds are possible in the following areas in the next two hours: Cavite (Naic, Ternate, Maragondon, Tanza, Rosario, Noveleta, Trece Martires), Laguna (Calamba), Batangas (Laurel, Tanauan, Agoncillo, San Nicolas, Taal), Quezon (Atimonan, Plaridel, Mauban, Gumaca, Pitogo, Tagkawayan), Bulacan (Doña Remedios Trinidad, Norzagaray) "All are advised to take precautionary measures against the impacts associated with these hazards, which include flash floods and landslides,” PAGASA said.
