Stegling met with Representative Geraldine roman, the main author of the Anti Discrimination law in the house of representatives to augment funding for HIV prevention services for the transgender and recognition of gender identity disorder as a national disease. Refusing to accept the progress, Roman called upon the government to pass the Sexual Orientation, Gender Identity, Gender Expression, or Sex Characteristics (SOGIESC) Equality Bill in order to establish equal rights and right to health care including HIV and gender confirmation surgery for trans people.
