The USA Basketball Team trolled Noah Lyles after the team's social media account posted on X, quoting "Are we the World Champs now?". This is a jab at a comment made by Lyles last year that NBA champions are not "world champions." The USA men's basketball team, composed of NBA superstars, won their fifth straight Olympic gold last Saturday at the recently concluded 2024 Summer Olympics held in Paris, France.
