The first tennis rackets were made of wood and had small, rounded heads. 
By the 19th century, they had evolved to feature larger heads and different string materials, but they were still far from the lightweight, high-tech designs used today.

Those early wooden rackets were definitely a different game compared to today’s lightweight tech—can't even imagine playing with those small heads now, but it’s cool how they evolved over time!
