The polka dot plants do not like direct sunlight, but instead, they are adapted to bright indirect light. Excessive sunshine may scald or bleach their colored leaves; lack of sufficient sunshine may cause them to grow long. An east-facing window with filtered light is a good place to place your plant so that it grows healthy and that its foliage is colorful.
