You know when an actor is cast, and you’re like, “Eh, not sure they’re the right fit,” but then they absolutely crush it? For me, it was Heath Ledger as the Joker—I remember all the skepticism, but wow, he owned it. What’s your favorite “I didn’t see that coming” performance? Oh, for sure! I felt that with Anne Hathaway as Catwoman—like, "Really? The Princess Diaries girl?" But she totally killed it with all that sass and swagger, proving everyone wrong.
