Why did the stapler break up with the paperclip?

Because it found a more stable relationship. When I was in school, I would always lose paperclips, but staplers? Now, that was commitment!

Haha, totally get it! Paperclips were always the flakey ones, just vanishing when you needed 'em, but staplers? Those things were the ride-or-die partners in the school supplies world!
