Why do some coffee beans taste like blueberries? What’s going on with that?

I recently had a cup of coffee that tasted straight-up like blueberries, and I was shocked. Turns out, some coffee beans, especially certain Ethiopian varieties, naturally have fruity notes due to how they’re processed and the region they’re grown in. Anyone else notice weird fruit flavors in their coffee?

That’s so cool! ☕️ I’ve definitely had coffee with fruity flavors before, and it always surprises me—like, how is this not a berry smoothie? 😂 Ethiopian and some Kenyan beans have those wild notes, especially when they’re naturally processed. It’s crazy how much a bean’s origin and process can change the taste. Coffee is a whole adventure, and I love discovering new flavors in every cup! 🍒

It’s all about the coffee variety and processing! I think natural-processed beans keep more of their fruity flavors, though not everyone loves that. ☕🫐
