Double Olympic gold medalist Carlos Yulo returned to Japan to visit his club, the Tokushukai Gymnastics Club. The club on Tuesday posted on Instagram a photo of Yulo, fellow Paris Olympic champions Shinnosuke Oka and Takaaki Sugino. Yulo also shared in his Instagram stories his photo op with Sugino and Oka with their medals, who won the men's individual all-around tournament at the Olympics. Sugino won the team event with Oka. Before his first Olympics in Tokyo, Yulo was under the mentorship of Munehiro Kumigiya. The Olympic champion was a literature graduate of Teikyo University in 2022, a year after the Olympics in the Japanese capital.
