I don’t know if this happens to anyone else, but whenever I sit down to work — especially on something that matters — my brain starts inventing "urgent" things I suddenly need to do. Like, I’ll remember I haven’t cleaned my inbox, or that it’s the perfect time to reorganize my notes. It’s frustrating because I know it’s avoidance, but it feels important in the moment. Anyone else deal with this kind of mental sabotage?
