EVs are definitely greener in terms of emissions over their lifetime, especially when charged with renewable energy. 
But you’re right—battery production and disposal have environmental impacts too. The good news is that recycling tech is improving, and innovations are making batteries more sustainable!

Does anyone know how the environmental impact of charging an EV compares in places where electricity prices (and sources) vary a lot, like here in Finland? I track our local rates using https://porssisahkohintanyt.fi, and it made me think: is an EV still greener when the grid isn't?
