I've been exploring French New Wave films and am curious if there are any contemporary directors who draw inspiration from this style. Any recommendations on films or directors to check out that capture that New Wave vibe?
Directors like Wes Anderson and Quentin Tarantino have drawn a lot from French New Wave. Anderson’s quirky style and Tarantino’s unique storytelling are both nods to that classic movement.
