Hi everyone,
I’ve been dealing with plantar fasciitis for a while now, and finding the right shoes has honestly made a huge difference. After going through reviews, expert opinions, and real user experiences, I wanted to share what actually works (especially for women).
From what I’ve learned, the key things to look for are:
1. ASICS Gel Series (like Gel-Kayano or Nimbus)
Great for stability and cushioning. Many people with heel pain say these reduce pressure really well.
2. Brooks Adrenaline GTS / Ghost
Super popular for support + comfort. Good balance between soft cushioning and structure.
3. HOKA One One Bondi / Clifton
These are known for maximum cushioning. If you want something soft that absorbs impact, HOKA is often mentioned.
4. New Balance 990 Series
Classic choice with excellent arch support and durability.
5. Vionic Shoes
Designed specifically for foot conditions. Built-in orthotic support is a big plus.
My personal takeaway:
No single shoe works for everyone, but shoes with proper arch support + cushioning make a noticeable difference. Also, pairing good shoes with stretching exercises helps even more.
If anyone has tried other brands or has real experience, I would love to hear your thoughts!
Thanks
