Best Workout Gyms: How Did You Choose the Right Gym for Your Fitness Goals?

I've been trying to find one of the best workout gyms, but I quickly realized that every gym looks great online until you actually start comparing them. I spent a few days reading reviews, checking fitness forums, and looking at different websites before making a decision.
For me, the biggest things were clean equipment, enough space during busy hours, qualified trainers, and flexible membership plans. I also wanted a gym that had both strength training and cardio equipment, instead of focusing on just one type of workout.
One thing I learned is that it's worth reading detailed guides instead of only looking at ratings. I found some useful information here: https://www.nerdfitness.com/blog/how-to-choose-a-gym/ and also checked workout tips from https://www.bodybuilding.com/ before deciding what features actually mattered.
I'm still comparing a few local gyms, but I think visiting in person before signing up is probably the best advice anyone can give. Pictures can be outdated, and the atmosphere is something you can only judge by being there.

What do you usually look for when choosing a gym? Is it the equipment, price, trainers, location, or something else? I'd like to hear what helped you find a gym you actually enjoyed going to.
