Can a religious ritual still hold value if you don’t believe?

Here’s a thought—what if someone doesn’t believe in a particular religion but still participates in its rituals? Could the ritual itself hold meaning, like through tradition, community, or just personal comfort? Or does belief make the ritual what it is? I’d love to hear how people feel about this, especially if you’ve been on either side of it!
