The budget for James Cameron's "Titanic" was so huge it surpassed the cost of building the actual ship in 1912. 🎞️🛳️ The budget for the movie was approximately $200 million, making it the most expensive film ever made at the time of its release. 💰 Meanwhile, the cost to build the actual RMS Titanic in 1912 was about $7.5 million at that time (roughly $200 million today when adjusted for inflation). 😮

So, technically, the cost of making the movie was about the same as the cost of building the real ship in today's dollars.

Wow, that’s wild! 😮 The budget for James Cameron’s "Titanic" was indeed mind-blowing—$200 million, which is about the same as the original ship’s cost when adjusted for inflation! It’s incredible how Hollywood can sometimes outspend history.

that’s mind-blowing! The movie budget for "Titanic" totally eclipsed the cost of building the real ship, even after adjusting for inflation—talk about going all out for cinematic history! 🎬💸

Titanic is the one of the most iconic movie and once crowned the most profitable movie of all time. Steven Spielberg did great about building a replica of the Titanic.
