Do prayers have an “expiration date”?

So, let’s say you pray for something today, but it doesn’t happen for like… 20 years. Is that the prayer finally kicking in? Or do prayers have a time limit before they kinda, I don’t know, expire? Like, if I prayed for something as a kid and forgot about it, could it still be working in the background? Or do I need to “renew” my prayers, like a subscription? Curious to hear your thoughts!

Interesting thought! Maybe prayers work on divine timing, not ours. Sometimes what we ask for unfolds in ways we don’t expect—or at a time when we’re finally ready for it. But hey, if prayers worked like subscriptions, I’d love to see the renewal options!
