I was surprised to learn that pandas use a variety of vocalizations to communicate, especially since they’re usually thought of as quiet animals. What kinds of sounds do they make, and what do these sounds signify in their behavior or social interactions?
Pandas actually have a whole range of sounds! They bleat like goats to show excitement or distress, bark to signal a threat, and chirp when they're being playful. It just goes to show there's more to these adorable creatures than meets the eye!
