How do Red Velvet's different "Red" and "Velvet" concepts influence their music evolution over the years?

I’ve always been fascinated by how Red Velvet splits their music into “Red” (bright, pop) and “Velvet” (more mature, R&B). Do you think this concept has helped them evolve musically, or does it limit their creative potential? Any examples of songs where you felt they blurred the line between both concepts?

Red Velvet's “Red” and “Velvet” concepts are such an interesting way to showcase their versatility! I think this approach has really helped them evolve musically, allowing them to explore different styles while still keeping their identity. It gives them the freedom to experiment with both bright, catchy tunes and more mature sounds. One great example of them blurring the lines is “Bad Boy,” which has that smooth R&B vibe while still being catchy and fun. Another is “Psycho,” where you can feel both the pop and the mature elements working together beautifully. What do you think about their concept? Do you have any favorite tracks that mix the two styles?
