How much do you “taste” with your ears? Does restaurant music affect your meal? 🎶🍲

This might sound strange, but I recently ate at this café that was playing the most relaxing jazz, and honestly, I swear my sandwich tasted better. It made me wonder: Does anyone else feel like the background music in a restaurant actually changes how you enjoy your food? Like, do you ever think something tastes spicier with certain beats, or maybe sweeter if there’s soft music? Or am I just making things up in my head? Would love to know if anyone has experienced this or even paid attention to it before!

I totally get what you mean! 🎶 It’s crazy how music can change the vibe of your meal. I’ve definitely noticed that when there’s chill music playing, the food feels more comforting, almost like it tastes better. And on the flip side, if there’s something upbeat, it can make everything feel more exciting, even spicier! 😄 I think it’s all about how the atmosphere mixes with your senses, so you’re definitely not imagining it!
