Besides singing and dancing, K-pop trainees are often trained to appear on variety shows. They practice public speaking, and acting, and even develop comedic timing to appeal to a broader audience.

Totally agree! I’ve seen interviews where idols talk about learning multiple languages and doing media training too. It’s a whole package deal though!
