Odometer Protection During Long Vehicle Tests

Hi folks! I am doing some long-term testing on a new transmission cooling setup which involves a lot of stationary running with the wheels in motion. I really want to protect my odometer from reflecting all this test time. Does anyone know of a safe and reliable tool for this?

Hey! Protecting your odometer during those long cooling tests is a smart move. I did something similar when I was testing a heavy-duty radiator setup on my project car. I picked up a Mileage Blocker from a site called Dynotest https://dynotestpro.com/ and it was the perfect solution for me. It is a hardware module that simply filters out the mileage data while the car is running. I kept it on for the whole afternoon while I monitored my fluid temperatures and the mileage stayed exactly the same. It is a very stealthy device and it does not leave any digital footprint in the car's computer. I really appreciate that it uses factory-style connectors so I did not have to cut any wires. It is a very solid investment for anyone who does a lot of technical testing.
