Why are random trivia facts so addictive?

I swear, I can’t stop reading trivia lists even if I’ll probably never use the info. What’s your favorite piece of trivia, and why do you think we love these random nuggets of knowledge so much?

Haha, I know exactly what you mean! Trivia lists are so addictive . My favorite piece of trivia is that honey never spoils; they found pots of honey in ancient Egyptian tombs that are still edible! I think we love these random nuggets of knowledge because they make us feel a bit smarter and are great conversation starters. Plus, there's just something fun about knowing odd facts that most people don't!
