Why don’t we see more savory ice cream flavors?

So, I recently tried a cheddar cheese ice cream (don’t judge me yet!), and it was surprisingly good. It made me wonder—why don’t we see more savory ice cream flavors out there? Would you be down to try something like garlic or mushroom ice cream, or is that crossing a line? Let’s talk weird ice cream experiments! 🍦🧄

Cheddar cheese ice cream actually sounds kinda amazing! 🧀🍦 Sweet and salty combos always hit differently, so I totally get why you liked it. I’d be open to trying garlic or mushroom ice cream—might be weird at first, but hey, you never know until you taste it! Honestly, food experiments like this make eating way more fun, so I say bring on the wild flavors! 😆

I would definitely be curious enough to try savory ice cream flavors, although garlic might be a step too far for me. Mushroom ice cream, on the other hand, sounds like it could have an interesting earthy taste. Reading about creative experiments like this reminds me of Veck IO, where I enjoy trying unexpected strategies just to see what happens. Sometimes the weirdest ideas end up being the most fun!

I've had savory ice creams like parmesan and goat cheese before, and while they can be surprisingly delicious, I think they stay niche because most people naturally associate ice cream with sweet flavors and desserts.
