Some soda brands are bringing back cane sugar versions instead of high-fructose corn syrup. Do they actually taste better, or is this just another way to get us to pay more?
I swear cane sugar sodas just hit different! There’s definitely a smoother, less syrupy taste compared to the ones with high-fructose corn syrup. Some people say it's all in our heads, but if you’ve ever tried the Mexican Coke vs. regular Coke, you can definitely tell the difference! Of course, brands know nostalgia (and “premium” ingredients) make us willing to pay more, but hey, if it tastes better, sometimes it’s worth it!
