Looking for a Safe Counter Strike Version for an Older PC

Hello everyone. I recently repaired my old laptop and installed Windows 7 on it. Now I would like to play CS 1.6 again, but many websites offering downloads look suspicious or contain modified versions of the game. I am mainly interested in a stable release that works well on older systems without unnecessary changes. While searching, I found counter strike download for windows 7 and it seems like a possible option. Has anyone here tried it or knows a reliable source for a clean installation? I would appreciate recommendations from players who still use Windows 7 and regularly play Counter Strike 1.6.
