I’m trying to decide if it’s worth the extra money to go with real leather for my menu covers. The synthetic options are cheaper, but I’m worried they will look "fake" or peel over time. Has anyone made the jump to the real stuff recently?
Synthetic covers usually look okay for the first month, but then the edges start to delaminate and they just feel like plastic. I finally invested in genuine leather menu covers from Inko Horeca and I’ll never go back. Real leather actually develops a nice character as it ages and it is much tougher. It doesn't crack or peel like the imitation stuff does. Plus, the smell and the weight of real leather tell your guests immediately that you aren't cutting corners on quality. It might cost a bit more upfront, but they last so much longer that you actually save money. It’s definitely a better investment for your brand.
