I posted here about six months ago about a 2015 A6 I bought that had been seriously neglected by the previous owner. The transmission was rough, the fluid was black, and it had a hard shift from park to drive. Everyone told me to sell it. I decided to take a chance and find a shop that could fix neglected Audi Dubai cars. It wasn't cheap I spent about 8k total on a full transmission service, new fluid, filter, mechatronic repair, and adaptation. But six months and 15,000 km later, the car drives absolutely perfectly. Shifts are smooth, no noises, no warnings. I probably put more into it than the car is worth, but I plan on keeping it for years. For me it was worth it. Just wanted to share for anyone else who bought a neglected Audi and is feeling discouraged. The right shop can bring them back. Anyone else have a resurrection story they want to share?
